So here we are...in Greece trying to arrange our vaca. We originally wanted Rhodes, but the plane is fully booked out of Thessaloniki which has left us back at the drawing board. After fighting about it for a few hours, we've decided to try and head to Zakynthos. We'll head to the travel agency again tomorrow and hopefully there are still plane tickets available for Sunday. Zakynthos looks like an amazing and beautiful Island and should be a fantastic time. (keep your fingers crossed)
Otherwise we've all been stuck inside because its been raining...its the most miserable weather I've ever had to endure while in Greece, and keep in mind I was here during the winter. At least its reasonably warm. But still I can't tell you how many card games we've played...lets just say that if we were playing for money I'd be a millionaire, xri and b would be in debt, and the lawn would be watered. (I do a sprinkler dance move everytime I win hehe)
Oh and we had our first gyros of the summer...they were a major disappointment.

Bored
Hello blog-readers,
I've been in Greece now for nearly a week and I can safely say that I would not mind living here. The only downside to my first week in Greece is...believe it or not...the weather! It's rained almost everyday we've been here and even though the temps were in the 80s early in the afternoon, the rain did not fail us. After the storm passed it was colddddd, I even had to put socks on! The forecast for next week continues to call for more rain. This is not the typical Greek summer weather I have grown accustomed to! I'm hoping after next week things will go back to how it normally is...hot and dry! My sisters and I are thinking of going down to the Islands on Tuesday since its beautiful down so we don't waste another week staying inside. I'm not quite sure if we'll do it yet or not...let's just say its pending, since on second thought waiting a few more weeks will warm the Aegean a little more.
Last night we went out for a couple beers...pretty uneventful night but it was nice to just hang out. We ran into some people from New Jersey which was pretty random...The plan was to go out again tonight but it looks like we are going to take a RAINcheck. Haha pretty clever eh?
Okay folks I'll keep you updated as frequently as possible! If the internet cooperates you might even see a few pictures and videos...you can only be so lucky!

First Post.
So this is the first blog post of our adventures in Greece, and I have the honor of writing it, probably cause everyone else is too lazy. :]
Well we arrived nicely; good flights, no lost suitcases, and a quick bus ride. When we finally arrived at Kastoria, we left my mom down in the parking area, and me and my sisters went up first to the house to suprise our family (since they didnt know we were coming that day) It was fun, everyone was excitied, eventually we sent our Aunt down to get our mom, even though we thought it to be better if we just "forgot" about her...
As our second day came about, we pretty much just took the day off, just to relax and spend quality time with the family and all. Ofcourse spending all the time looking out the window, since Kastoria is so freakin beautiful hahaha. Now we are on our third day here, we did have plans to go out tonight, but it started to rain, but usually it stops quickly here so we'll see how it goes! And as I type this the rain is getting heavier and heavier, and I just heard thunder... ohh Karma.
